www.shell.com Jean Marie Young Manager of Global Retail Investor Relations Jean Marie Young is currently the Manager of Global Retail Investor Relations at Shell Oil Company. She joined the investor relations team in December 2006 and is responsible for expanding the scope of Shell's retail IR function beyond the USA.
Prior to joining Shell, Ms. Young played an integral role in developing Canon's investor relations strategy in the Americas, and was presented with the 2004 Investor Relations Magazine award for "Best IR by an Asia-Pacific Company in the US Market". During her tenure with Canon, foreign ownership of the stock has increased from 40% at year-end 2000 to 51% as of mid-2004.
Ms. Young brings a strong financial communications background to Royal Dutch Shell's retail investor relations program. She holds an undergraduate degree in English and Communications from the State University of New York at Albany and received an MBA in Finance from Fordham University Graduate School of Business. Ms. Young has a broad range of investor relations and financial experience ranging from portfolio management to the complete development and implementation of investor relations programs.
