Saul helps publicize the InvestEd conference and recruits corporate sponsors. He has taught a variety of classes at local, regional, and national investor education events, including at AAII events. He was a director and vice president of education for the Rocky Mountain (formerly Denver) Chapter. Saul is a member of the online CGAB Alumni Investment Club. With degrees in electrical engineering and law, Saul spent most of his career as a corporate attorney for high tech companies. More recently Saul was director of the Science & Technology Law Center at Albany Law School, where currently he is an adjunct professor.
